The Abbey reaches out to undergraduate, graduate, international students, recent graduates, as well as others who have a connection with the NIU community. In addition, we have a number of singles and young families who are committed to the miracle of a young church plant. We are united in our belief that DeKalb is a mission field that needs more strong churches. Currently, campus ministries reach less than 10% of the 25,000 students, and that is why our ministry exists.

One way that you can support The Abbey is by offering your time and talents.  We need help in a variety of areas, including child care, worship ministry, event planning, prayer leadership, and much more.  God has gifted each of His children in unique ways, and we would be blessed if you would share your time and talents with us.

In addition, this ministry depends upon the tithes and offerings of our participants.  Being that we are located in a college town, and many college students are full-time students, we also depend upon the generosity of other churches and fellow believers.  If you feel led by the Lord, you may support the ministry via this page.
